很多事情，重要的不是結局，而是過程。

校史首度闖進HBL十二強的花蓮體中，29日在外卡賽首戰57：66惜敗有備而來的南湖高中，無緣八強，不過別忘了，他們可是樂天的原住民同胞。

花體複賽苦吞5連敗，此役表現不俗，製造南湖不小壓力，決勝節陳奕軒連續2記三分球，將雙位數落後一口氣追到2分差距。

可惜花體後繼無力，加上南湖林明毅飆進關鍵三分彈，驚險過關。

賽後，花體球員幾乎都是笑著開會、笑著離開球場，感受不到太多哀傷氣氛，事實上，他們真的不需要難過。
