謝蘇退 陳菊：看到美麗島律師英姿

民進黨主席蘇貞昌聲明退出下屆黨主席選舉不久，行政院前院長謝長廷也宣布退出，高雄市長陳菊下午再上臉書「花媽粉絲團」PO文，感動的說好像回到美麗島軍法大審法庭上，看到英姿煥發的辯護律師蘇貞昌和謝長廷。

陳菊覺得蘇、謝決定退出黨主席選舉的那一刻，感覺回到了美麗島的軍法大審法庭上，那時辯護律師展現了勇氣和無私，也讓人看見那個年代的悲願與盼望。

她說，那是最壞的時代，也是最好的時代；是獨裁冷峻的冬天，也是民主萌生的春天。

「如今這個時候也是。且再多等待一會兒，看我們把台灣的希望帶回來」她表達了自己的感動。
