澳洲雪梨商人布里松（Steve Brisson）一直想向自己的女友紗矢香（Sayaka Shoji）求婚，但苦於始終找到不到合適的方法而未能成行。受到紗矢香常閱覽的團購網站Scoopon的啟發，布里松決定把自己包裝成團購商品，為女友制定一份獨一無二的『團購求婚』。

長江網據外媒報導，當布里松知道女友喜歡瀏覽Scoopon團購網站，於是他決定為女友制定一份『不容拒絕』的團購。隨後，布里松與Scoopon網站聯繫，並制定了一份名為『與這個為你著迷的人共度一生』的團購。

布里松將自己包裝成一個『團購』專案，並透過Scoopon只向紗矢香個人推出。團購中的內容包括『一位可糾正發音與音調的個人歌唱導師』與『一位愛你每一天並與你共度一生的生活伴侶』等。

此外，團購還向紗矢香提出布里松的求婚。在實施求婚當日，布里松將紗矢香誘騙到他們常去的印度餐廳，假藉上洗手間之際讓紗矢香閱覽團購。最終，看到這條獨一無二的『團購求婚』的紗矢香欣然同意購買『團購商品』，接受了布里松的求婚。
