台中市長胡志強今天出席「樂齡行動生活一指通」講座時說，大家都要加入滑手機的行列，讓台中更便利、更智慧。

台中市南屯區公所今天舉行「樂齡行動生活一指通」講座，由胡志強及民政局長王秋冬邀請長輩們一起學操作手機，並邀請嶺東科技大學推廣教育部助理教授昝大偉擔任講師，帶領大家一同認識智慧型手機功能。

胡志強說，台中市在去年獲得全球智慧城市首獎，未來台中要加強基礎數位設施，讓電腦容量更大網路速度更快，吸引年輕人到台中發展，而他也要和所有長輩一樣加入「滑手機」的行列，未來一定要更加強網路速度及容量，讓台中更便利、更智慧。

南屯區公所表示，區內45歲以上人口逐年增加，現今工商社會忙碌，彼此聯繫以手機傳遞訊息已是普遍情形。今天開辦講座吸引超過400名區內社區發展協會會員、老人關懷據點長者和里內志工團體們報名，可見社區居民對於學習操作智慧型手機的需求相當高。

胡志強指出，台中市過去五年的經濟成長45%，平均每年成長9%，為全國第一名，期許台中經濟越來越好，以後每年可以達到10%。而台中未來交通將透過8公里免費公車、BRT、台中環線、鐵路山海線建構整合性交通陸網，為長輩提供方便的交通系統。(中央社)
