航空公司請來男神等級的明星，一身輕衫，單車徜徉在池上田野間，飲茶小憩在田邊樹蔭下，讓花東縱谷這處豐饒田野，成了遊客朝聖的天堂。初秋稻穗逐漸成熟轉黃，更讓天堂之路有如黃綠相間的拼布。原本靜立在路旁的茄冬樹，在廣告播出後被暱稱為金城武樹。其實縱谷田間還有不少這樣的獨立樹木，提供農民休憩乘涼。可惜這株全國最有人氣的茄冬樹，卻擋不住颱風的肆虐而傾頹，幸好地方政府請來日本的樹木醫生，讓這株人氣之樹可以回復往日生機。只是台灣的政府單位疼惜這株樹木，不是因為美景宜人，不是因為水土涵養，就是為了可以算計的觀光收益。可以搖錢的樹，花費再多人力物力都可以回收，其他的樹木，各企業、各施工單位，想剁想砍就請便吧。
