洛杉磯湖人30日客場出戰鳳凰城太陽，第2節稍有起色，擺脫首節不到3成的命中率，不過半場仍以50：59落後。

首節表現一無是處的湖人，第2節反倒靠著替補陣容扳回顏面，Wayne Ellington、Ed Davis接連在中距離、快攻搶分，一度追到4分差。

3分45秒，「紫金一哥」Kobe Bryant飆進湖人此役第一記三分進球，林書豪順勢回到場上，但沒能進一步威脅對手。

Bryant光是上半場就出手15次，投進7球，攻下19分，林書豪貢獻6分。
