在上周耶誕節的一周，黃金走勢大幅震盪。

今日則終場回檔。

紐約2月黃金下跌13.40美元，或1.1%，收於每盎司1181.90美元。

3月白銀下跌近37美分，或2.3%，收於每盎司15.78美元。

上周五，黃金大幅收高，但單周仍下跌，因前幾日賣壓沉重。

2015年，展望黃金走勢將良好。

分析師說，短期波動將偏高，但價格將走高。

黃金正反應技術性超買，預期1月初將大幅上揚。

黃金通訊編輯隆丁(Brien Lundin)並不擔憂年底黃金的波動走勢，因交易清淡，本易於波動。

他較在意的是新年的表現。

「更重要的是，黃金與礦業股的"1月效應"，在下跌的年份裡，於年底虧損抵稅賣壓後，通常會快速反彈。」他說。

其他金屬交易中，4月白金下跌17.20美元，或1.4%，收於每盎司1202.70美元。

3月鈀金下跌6.60美元，或0.8%，收於每盎司812美元。

3月銅下跌近1美分，收於每磅2.82美元。

銅期貨近來下跌至2010年6月以來低點。
