新北市每年平均拆除1萬2千件違建，平均每個月拆除1千件，拆除違建量應為全台灣最大，市府每年編列3500萬元做為拆除違建經費，但面對平均一年仍有1500件的違建成長量，想要徹底剷除違建，還是一大難題。
