請教關於裝潢順序的問題

最近買了間套房自己住，
前屋主大部分都整理得差不多，
但我還是想要小小處理成我想要的樣子。

因為我想省錢+我什麼都不會，
所以只想找水電師傅幫我遷管線與釘些收納的層板，
油漆就自己來囉！
由於本人急著想要享受DIY的樂趣(？？)
有一股衝動想要把白牆換成自己喜歡的顏色，
卻遭受友人阻止，
她說：妳有點邏輯好不，水電要先，油漆最後才上好嗎！

我知道阿！
雖然買了間小布拉機的套房，可也是有認真做功課的(小小心虛)
可是若等水電工把層架都釘好我再自行上油漆，
這樣難度不就會提高嗎？
我好怕手殘漆得零零落落(因為為了收納，我規劃了好幾處層板掛鉤)

所以在這想請教各位，
1 麻煩水電跑兩趟，等我刷好油漆再來幫我釘
2 自己認命一點，多買幾捲遮蔽膠帶，多花點時間上漆
給我點意見好嗎？
