極端組織「伊斯蘭國」血腥殘暴行徑令國際聞之色變，然而上周六伊斯蘭國竟釋放約350名雅茲迪人質，並助其抵達伊拉克北部基爾庫克的安全地區。

據《紐約時報》報導，激進組織「伊斯蘭國」曾血洗雅茲迪教派村莊，屠殺千名該族族裔，更曾擄其族百名女性，迫當聖戰分子的「性奴」，手段十分凶殘。

然而，上周六「伊斯蘭國」竟出人意料地釋放約350名雅茲迪人質，獲釋者多是年老病衰者。一名獲釋者表示，當時武裝分子令他們上車，原以為會被殺死，但他們被帶往「伊斯蘭國」控制邊境釋放。目前伊斯蘭國釋放人質原因仍不明。
