澳洲的高薪吸引許多台灣年輕人，大部分人學的是美式英文，而澳洲用法語美式英文有些差異，「不要鬧工作室（STOP KIDDIN’ STUDIO）」找來澳洲人Alicia錄製短片教大家。

首先介紹「蝦子」的講法，我們熟悉的是「shrimp」，澳洲的說法是「prawns」、橡皮擦「eraser」，澳洲人都說「rubber」、垃圾的英文「trash」，澳洲人則說「rubbish」，美國洗衣服的說法為「do the laundry」，在澳洲會說「do the washing」，最特別的是晚餐「dinner」，他們會說「tea」，所以要吃晚餐，他們會說「let's have tea」。（即時新聞中心／綜合報導）
