我國5月下旬恐有限電危機，經濟部長鄧振中上午表示，希望能度過難關，他會要求台電工程人員確保電廠機組運轉不能有任何失誤，此外，機組歲修若能延期進行就稍微延後一點，並希望大家配合節電工作。

他說，每天供應電量都會網上公布，這並非突如其來也非恐嚇。

鄧振中上午出席立法院經濟委員會前受訪表示，當前有幾個狀況值得警惕，如清明節時期天氣酷熱，顯示氣候異常；台電每年5月與9月進行歲修，影響供電情況；加上水情不佳，影響水力發電，因此預估5月下旬備轉容量率只有3.3%；若又遇到天氣驟然變熱，可能出現缺電狀態。

他說，若5月下旬那幾天克服了，等到電廠都危修了，緊急情況就比較舒緩。
