首例！車牌遭塗污變造　致誤扣款

【陳如嬌／台北報導】對於有民眾投訴1月12日至14日未上國道，卻被ETC扣款，15日跑國道1號，北斗到員林卻有國道3號北部扣款紀錄。遠通電收表示，經查證，這起案例是因實際行駛國道車輛的車牌首號被惡意塗污變造，6變成8，導致遠通電收車牌辨識系統以及人工審核，皆將車牌6判定為8，這是車牌塗污造成的錯誤。

遠通電收表示，已將此車牌號列入管理名單，並提送高公局處理。遠通電收除返還用路人被誤扣的通行費外，另補償1倍金額以表達歉意。
