Frank Jobe醫師不是名人堂選手，但他卻幫助許多球員進入名人堂。 道奇球團今天宣布，前隊醫、「Tommy John」手術發明者Frank Jobe與世長辭，原因是某 項不公開的疾病，享壽88歲。 Frank Jobe曾替我國旅美好手郭泓志動手術，2000在道奇小聯盟的「小小郭」手肘韌帶受 傷，就是經由隊醫Jobe手術後才回到球場。 1974年Jobe醫師替Tommy John動手術，結果受傷的John在1976年拿到東山再起獎。聽聞Jo be過世的消息，他說：「棒球界失去一個偉人，而我失去了一個摯友。」 「Tommy John」是把受傷手肘尺骨的韌帶用身上其他部位的韌帶替換（一般來說是病人的 前臂、大腿後方、腳部），1974年Frank Jobe首度動此手術而聲名大噪，這項手術後來也 用第一個動這手術選手的名子來命名。 除了當了近50年道奇隊醫，Frank Jobe其實還當過二戰時的美國軍醫，隨大批軍隊登陸諾 曼第，對美國醫界貢獻良多。 http://www.dong.tw/mlb/news/20140307/00040466.html?1394174647 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.163.71.50 ※ 編輯: michael3114 來自: 118.163.71.50 (03/07 14:46)
