「基地」點名攻擊拉斯維加斯　警方審慎以對

美國警方昨（23日）證實，「基地」恐怖組織（al-Qaeda）近日呼籲追隨者自製汽車炸彈，並對美國發動攻擊，還特別提及要以美國拉斯維加斯賭場和夜店為目標。

美國媒體引述南內華達反恐中心的妮可史普林特（Nichole Splinter）說，這項威脅是恐怖分子常用的恫嚇言詞。她說：「這不代表有任何計畫，或計畫已被發現。這只是對認同聖戰意識形態的人洗腦的用語。」

史普林特說，這類資訊正是南內華達反恐中心不分晝夜持續監督的資訊，反恐單位嚴肅看待每一個可能的威脅，不論威脅有多不明確。

這項攻擊威脅在美國記者佛里（James Foley）遭伊拉克極端團體「伊斯蘭國」處決後發布。不過，專家說，他們不認為處決佛里和這些散布在網路的新威脅有所關連。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
