世界盃男籃賽8強賽塞爾維亞vs.巴西，上半場戰況激烈，塞爾維亞僅以37比32領先5分，但下半場塞爾維亞火力突然大爆發，單節打出29比12攻勢，一口氣將領先比分拉大到22分，終場塞爾維亞就以84比56大勝巴西，晉級4強。
 
塞爾維亞控衛特多希奇(Milos Teodosic)攻下全場最高23分，另有3籃板和4助攻，是塞爾維亞得以痛宰巴西的大功臣。巴西有3大NBA中鋒奈奈(Nene)、史普利特(Tiago Splitter)和瓦瑞豪(Anderson Varejao)坐鎮禁區，原以為可打爆塞爾維亞禁區，想不到僅瓦瑞豪表現較為正常，全場12分、9籃板，其餘2人共15投3中，僅合拿7分收場。（陳雍仁／綜合報導）
