世界上人口最多的城市竟是最安全的城市？根據《經濟學人》的一項最新統計，擁有3800萬人口的東京被列為全球最安全的城市，香港排第11位，臺北位列13。

根據中新網報導，在這份名為《2015年安全城市索引》的報告中，東京在數字化安全、醫療保障、基礎設施和人身安全等方面的綜合評比領先於其他大城市。

排在前五位的其他四個城市倒並不令人驚訝，比如寧靜的新加坡、大阪、斯德哥爾摩，而阿姆斯特丹雖然對毒品和性交易態度開放，仍排名第五。

前十名的另五個城市是雪梨、蘇黎世、多倫多、墨爾本，紐約第十。大陸的幾個大城市中，上海排名30，深圳32，天津34，北京37，廣州38。

這份報告共列出50個全球大都市。排在最後一名的是雅加達，其他五個排名靠後的城市分別是墨西哥城、利雅德、約翰尼斯堡、胡志明市和德黑蘭。

不過，儘管東京榮列最安全城市，最宜居的城市卻是加拿大的多倫多，其次是蒙特婁，東京排在第16位。CNN戲稱，儘管你能信任3800萬鄰居，但幸福可能僅僅來自於澆滿芝士凝乳和肉汁的法式薯條。
