墨西哥東北部一名32歲迷糊老爸米格爾（Miguel Martinez）日前開家返家時，在自家前院發現一隻「大型絨毛玩具」，下車走進家門時，發現玩具竟起身怒吼，還開始衝撞家門，才驚覺這是頭「獅子」。

據英國《都市報》（Metro）報導，米格爾發現後院的「玩具」竟是頭獅子後，內心湧上無限恐懼，他迅速躲回車上，並打電話報警。米格爾表示「起初我以為是個可愛的玩具，但發現牠竟會動，才意識到這是頭獅子」、「我當時非常害怕家中的妻女會遭到攻擊」。

警方趕抵現場，調查出原來這頭7個月大的幼獅是19歲鄰居瑪麗亞（Maria Fernanda Martinez）的懷孕禮物，還將牠取名辛巴（Simba），不過考量到獅子不適當寵物，瑪麗亞表示「原就有計畫將牠送往動物園」。

報導指出，目前辛巴已被送往動物園安置，動物園發言人表示「這個小傢伙從現在開始，會和我們一起生活」。
