國軍今天於嘉義市舉辦「國軍推動募兵政策暨人才招募」宣導活動，並展示各武器、車輛等裝備，吸引近千人參觀，但有民眾批評裝備老舊，像「防空35快砲」是在蔣經國時代的武器；軍方解釋，展示的都是現役精實武器，保養得宜才能戶外展示，也讓曾服役過的民眾回味當兵時的情景，至於其他精良裝備，礙於國防機密無法一一展演。（李宗祐／嘉義報導）
