Sony的新款Walkman NW-ZX2 《日經亞洲評論(Nikkei Asian Review)》周五報導，日本電子大廠 Sony ((US-SNE)；6758-JP) 準備下個月推出一台要價 1000 美元的 Walkman 音樂播放器，為有史以來最昂貴的 Walkman。

自 1980 年代 Sony 推出 Walkman (隨身聽)以來，一說到隨身聽，就會聯想到 Sony 攜帶型錄音帶播放器，但近代「隨身聽」既定印象卻被蘋果的 iPod 和類似設備取代，有更多功能，也可播放更高品質的數位影音檔案。

根據日經報導，Sony 最新推出的 NW-ZX2 將定價在約莫 12 萬日元 (1030美元)，標榜其「鍍金銅板可確保電流穩定，增加信號處理的效率和音頻品質」。

Walkman A系列根據報導，Sony 在定價 2 萬日元的 Walkman A 系列嚐到了熱賣的甜頭，欲乘勝追擊，推出更高階產品。
