慈濟在美國投資「邪惡基金」？

今有網友表示，在網路查到慈濟在美國的投資股票標的，包含多家石油公司、進行種子基因改造的孟山都、菸酒商、軍火商等等，違反環保、人道等相關原則，質疑慈濟投資的是「邪惡基金」。

今晚慈濟基金會回應，據其側面了解，網友所稱並非慈濟醫療志業的投資標的，有可能是慈濟美國分會的投資，因各分會財務獨立、需自力更生，各分會人員有可能操作投資，一切符合當地法令，台灣慈濟總會不了解也不會過問其投資標的；另不排除分會除了接獲善款，也會接獲股票捐贈，不會因企業性質而拒絕。（生活中心／台北報導）
