由同名小說改編而成的電影，同樣在講述戰爭的殘酷，但表現手法較為特別，是用兩名孩童的生活方式來詮釋。

這部電影有些細節不容易懂，小豪還沒看過小說，單純看電影而言，

會覺得在處理孩童「情感」上不夠細膩，尤其在「情感轉折」上太過輕描淡寫，
