【林世雄／台中報導】現在是紅龍果盛產的季節，台中市農業局今天舉辦台中市優質紅龍果評鑑，台中市農業局長蔡精強表示，台中市目前種植紅龍果的面積約72公頃，栽培地區則分布在外埔、后里、霧峰、新社及太平等區，由於台中市生產的紅龍果品質佳，甜度甚至可以高達28度，一向受到市場及民眾的喜好，目前市價一公斤售價在120~150元，而紅果龍果的生產期可以一直延續到明年的元月。
