亞馬遜電子書升級 推新服務

彭博社報導，亞馬遜公司（Amazon.com Inc.）升級手持式電子書閱讀器KindlePaperwhite，加強螢幕解析度、加快處理器速度和增添新功能。

這家總部位於西雅圖的線上零售商聲明指出，新推出的服務讓購買亞馬遜紙本書籍的顧客能以折扣價格購買Kindle電子書版本。

儘管研究專家預測這種裝置未來數年銷售下滑，但亞馬遜執行長貝佐斯（Jeff Bezos）仍對其電子書閱讀器生產線進行投資。

根據IHS公司（IHS Inc.），電子書閱讀器出貨量到2016年料下降至710萬台，較2011年高峰下滑2/3以上。

亞馬遜說，新版Kindle電子書閱讀器速度加快25%，讓用戶打開書籍和翻頁時間縮短。此外，高對比螢幕將讓讀者難以區分與紙本書籍的差別。

Kindle Paperwhite去年9月開賣，升級版將於今年稍後上架，售價介於119-189美元。

亞馬遜週二在美股收漲2.8%至288.80美元，今年以來股價累漲15%。
