明年起 倫敦推網域名.london（路透倫敦15日電）英國倫敦市政府今天說，倫敦將加入數個城市的行列，從明年起擁有自己的網域名稱，以便提高倫敦在網際網路上的能見度，並向全世界推銷這個英國首都所在的城市。

負責管理網域名稱公約的國際組織「網際網路名稱與號碼指配組織」（ICANN）本週允許倫敦加入紐約、柏林、維也納與布魯塞爾等城市，從2014年開始使用London這個獨一無二的網域名稱。 倫敦市長強生（Boris Johnson）說，採用.london將使得各團體或組織與倫敦這個全球性品牌的關聯性更加緊密。 強生發表聲明說：「這也是提升倫敦在數位世界能見度的絕佳機會，這將能創造財源，反過頭來挹注倫敦這座城市。」中央社（翻譯）
