返鄉車潮湧現　免收費時段恐將塞車到深夜

今天是小年夜，國道下午3時過後已湧現車潮，目前包括國3的新竹到竹南、國1的泰安到豐原、王田到彰化等南下路段出現塞車，時速僅16~30多公里，其他路段則順暢，根據預估，目前北高行駛時間約4.3小時。

高公局表示，傍晚下班時間過後到晚間8時還將有一波高峰車潮外，晚間9時起免收通行費至隔日清晨7時，預計9時過後車潮仍無法紓解，恐塞到深夜11時或12時，提醒民眾趁明凌晨後免收費時段上國道，短途下班車潮改走省縣道。(李姿慧／台北報導)
