同一條路　南北速限差20公里

「前有闖紅燈測速照相，限速70公里。」褒忠鄉省道台19線與縣道158線路口，19線南下車道路口前，有定桿取締違規照相機，駕駛人通過，車內GPRS儀器都會發出警告，若走北上車道，卻發現讓人納悶的是，因北上速限只有50公里。
 
《蘋果》記者實地察看，該路口南北沿線都是農地，只有路口北上約100公尺有民宅，速限在路口前標示50公里，且剛好在民宅前提高到70公里，更讓人無法理解，路口速限規劃的原因為何？
 
公路局斗南工務段對此派人現場勘驗，段長黃秋陽回應，該路口2道路皆交通要道，過去常發生重大車禍，為此省道雙向限速50公里，後因交通號誌逐步建置，車禍減少許多，南下先放寬至70公里，且設置取締照相機規範，北上則因鄰近快速道路交流道，擔心車輛北上時車速仍快，所以維持當初速限，將與縣警局開會討論，是否開放至70公里。（林靜盛／雲林報導）
