達拉斯小牛本季戰力完整，但補強就像是女人的衣櫥，永遠少一件，在球團眼中，他們還缺少最後一塊奪冠拼圖。

根據《達拉斯晨報》報導，小牛希望在之後的例行賽再簽下一位角色球員，這個人，很可能是「雷槍」Ray Allen或是Rashard Lewis。

兩人都尚未決定新球季是否續披戰袍，Allen甚至坦言自己得先「觀望」戰局，至於Lewis已經在達拉斯自主訓練了一陣子。

「我們還沒和Allen談過，但我相信他會做出正確的選擇。」小牛老闆Mark Cuban說。

「他在等著看哪支球隊表現比較好，如果時候到了，我們會考慮的，我們對於強化團隊永遠保持開放態度。」Cuban說。

至於Lewis的近況，Cuban表示：「他正在訓練呢，我們會維持聯繫的。」
