潘瑋柏為了出專輯《王者丑生》，特地減重求帥，談到減肥秘訣，他說日喝約2000到4000CC水量，只吃水煮食物，造型師陳孫華笑說，以前幫他做造型時，看他頭小以為身材標準，沒想到竟要穿到54號的衣服，本來想找藉口不作潘瑋柏造型，但潘瑋柏二話不說對陳孫華說：「請給我16天的時間減肥！」沒想到短短時間瘦到穿上48號的衣服，讓陳孫華印象深刻，也見識到潘瑋柏的意志力。

他在《一袋女皇》說，雖然瘦下來變帥，但潘瑋柏也調侃自己說，以前最瘦60幾公斤的時候，1年內1個代言都沒有，反而在2005年胖到80幾公斤的時候，接到了13個代言，陳孫華開玩笑說如果那時候有江南大叔的話，乾脆走大叔路線，就不用那麼辛苦減肥了。（葉文正／台北報導）
