Lamigo桃猿13日在桃園對中信兄弟的封王戰，先發投手銳投7局只被中信兄弟擊出2支安打失1分，郭永維敲3安、有2分打點，桃猿擊敗中信兄弟，在桃園對戰中信兄弟8戰全勝，上半季封王。

2011年10月8日下半季決勝戰在天母舉行，桃猿對兄弟象，哪一隊贏就下半季封王，銳投出1安打完封勝，桃猿2比0擊敗象隊，銳的精采表現，讓桃猿榮登下半季冠軍寶座。

總教練洪一中表示，「銳腸胃不舒服，賽前感冒了，吃了止痛藥上場，沒想到他能撐7局，表現相當好」，銳則表示「就是將球路壓低，兄弟打者對我的時候，攻擊企圖都很強，所以盡量前2球就與他們對決」。

13日的封王戰，桃猿先發投手是銳，對手也是兄弟，銳先發7局，僅在7局上被黃仕豪敲出二壘打後，周思齊打出中外野飛球，送跑者上三壘，彭政閔的內野滾地球，打回唯一的1分，另有6次三振、2次保送，銳精采地拿到勝投（7勝2敗）。
