北市萬福國小周邊路樹不移了

北市文山區萬福國小周圍人行道行道樹，有37棵小葉欖仁和茄苳樹枝幹脆弱，容易砸傷小朋友，加上花台不斷破損、維護困難，校方有意將樹木移走。今晚校方舉行移樹公聽會，但與會居民群起反對移樹的決定，最後達成初步共識，決定保留樹木只移花台，樹木若因此有倒塌危險，會以支架做支撐，由於樹木位於校園周邊，教育局同意出這筆費用，結果可說是皆大歡喜。
 
出席公聽會的北市議員李慶鋒說，樹木的問題已延宕3年，讓校方頭痛不已，還自己請專家來研究可行方案，既然多數居民都想保留，他希望市府單位包括公園處與教育局能一起研究是否可行。
 
公園處表示，由於路樹屬深耕向下生長，初步估計若花台移除，也不會有倒塌可能，既然居民傾向只移除花台，願意配合。至於整體工程費用，因屬校園用地，教育局也同意負擔。（陳思豪/台北報導）
