彭博報導，BMW集團（Bayerische Motoren Werke AG）因前座乘客安全氣囊瑕疵，在全球召回160萬輛汽車。

本田汽車（Honda Motor Co.）和豐田汽車（Toyota Motor Corp.）等車商也因這個問題召修數百萬輛汽車。

BMW今天在聲明中表示，1999年5月到2006年8月生產的3系列車款應回廠來修復安全氣囊。BMW在2013年中曾宣布，因2001年到2003年製造的汽車安全氣囊有瑕疵，召回24萬輛汽車。BMW表示，因當時召回計畫而回廠的汽車，不需要再進行召修。

Takata Corp.提供的安全氣囊出現瑕疵，促使豐田、本田和日產汽車公司（Nissan Motor Co.）上個月大規模召回超過500萬輛汽車。BMW今天表示，尚未發現與安全氣囊相關的意外事故。BMW又表示，修理3系列需要1個小時左右。（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）1030716
