（中央社倫敦18日綜合外電報導）英國「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，一本新書聲稱馬來西亞航空公司失蹤班機可能遭意外擊落，而搜索生還者行動的真相被掩蓋。

新書「馬航370班機：謎團」（Flight MH370: TheMystery）聲稱，這架客機是在南海被美國和泰國聯合攻擊戰鬥機群擊落，而搜索人員被派往錯誤的方向，以掩蓋事情真相。

作者科索恩（Nigel Cawthorne）表示，在失聯客機詢答機停止傳送訊號的同時，一名在南海鑽油平台工作的男子看到一架燃燒的飛機，而一些國家的人員在附近舉行聯合軍事演習。

科索恩告訴失蹤乘客家屬，他們可能永遠不會知道發生了什麼事。

MH370班機在當地時間8日凌晨2時40分失蹤。這架波音777-200飛機午夜過後不久離開吉隆坡，預定清晨6時30分抵達北京。

馬來西亞航空公司（Malaysia Airlines）這架客機搭載239人，包括227名乘客和機組人員12人，227名乘客中包含2名嬰兒和160名陸籍公民。(中央社)
