火腿16日跟西武大戰12局，最後誰都沒討到便宜，兩隊以8比8握手言和。台灣選手陽岱鋼在延長10局上敲出陽春砲(本季第16轟)，全場6支1打擊率0.272。

此戰西武在第5局灌進6分大局，火腿第6局也追回4分還以顏色，兩隊打完正規9局7比7平手加班再戰。

10局上陽岱鋼敲出左外野陽春砲，幫助火腿取得領先，但10局下西武森友哉也掃出全壘打扳平戰局，比數最後到12局結束都沒有改變，兩隊以8比8握手言和。

陽岱鋼總計6支1有1保送打擊率0.272，本季全壘打累計到16支，有機會可以超越上個賽季的18轟。

其他比賽結果，中日6比0完封養樂多，橫濱8比2擊敗阪神，廣島12比2大勝巨人，羅德12比5贏樂天，歐力士7比6險勝軟銀。
