Steve Nash報銷，但新球季湖人先發控衛，不見得就是林書豪的指定席。經過上個球季在火箭的日子，林書豪相當清楚這個道理。

「我從在火箭的日子，學到一件事，那就是聯盟裡沒有什麼是理所當然。」林書豪說。

上季在火箭，林書豪出賽71場，只有33場先發。再往前一個球季，他不但82場全勤，還都是先發控衛。

「因為Nash報銷了，所以我會有很多上場時間？這可不一定。」林書豪說，「我這麼說的理由，就是在火箭隊的日子學到的。不過，要是我能更受重用，我會竭盡所能、好好享受。」
