保險業外匯管理新法 5月1日上路

央行於本月8日宣布修正「保險業辦理外匯業務管理辦法」，今日宣告新法自本年5月1日生效。

本次修正要點與8日公告項目完全相同。主要重點如下：第一，保險業辦理以外幣收付保險業務範圍，擴增外幣收付之財產保險及再保險業務。

第二，辦理外幣保單質借，保戶不再需要檢附證明文件，並刪除每家保險業每年辦理外幣放款總額5,000萬美元及限制，此外，保戶不得將該質借之外幣兌換為新台幣的限制也取消。

第三，經央行許可辦理保險相關外匯業務之保險業，得接受同一保險業之國際保險業務分公司委託代為處理國際保險業務。
