中信兄弟15日在天母棒球場練球、備戰總冠軍，日前遭到自打球擊中左膝的「恰恰」彭政閔，大方掀起褲子，內側仍有大片淤青，不過他樂觀地說：「雖然慢跑還有點痛，不過我相信2天後會好很多，冠軍賽要出戰是沒問題的！」

恰恰在12日對獅隊之戰，自打球擊中左膝，不過沒傷到骨頭，今天也帶傷練球，他指出，接球、打擊沒有問題。

不過考量到恰恰恐怕沒辦法守備，總教練謝長亨指出，預定讓他扛指定打擊，由近況火燙的菜鳥許基宏入替、擔任一壘手，而原先指定打擊的周思齊則改守左外野。

兄弟上下半季判若兩隊，上半季以19勝1和40敗墊底，勝率僅3成22，下半季卻打出31勝3和26敗、勝率5成44的成績，擠下外界看好的義大犀牛，挺進總冠軍，恰恰認為球隊一路走到這，全靠意志力支撐。

「今年4隊陣容都很堅強，有過上半季慘痛的經驗，我們在下半季也補強打線，靠著意志力走到現在，所有球員包括離隊的洋將耐克都表現亮眼，另外新進的年輕球員也超乎水準，我認為是我們奪下半季冠軍的關鍵。」恰恰說道。
