政府周三公布，美國9月生產者物價指數(PPI)小幅下降，顯示美國通貨膨脹壓力持續消退。

美國9月生產者物價指數下降0.1%，逾一年來首度下降，主要係因汽油價格下跌。

接受MarketWatch調查的分析師平均預估，9月PPI為上升0.1%。

9月，能源指數下降0.7%，因汽油價格大幅下跌。未來幾個月，燃料成本可能進一步下跌。

美國勞工部公布，9月生產者食品價格下降0.7%，亦創一年來最大降幅。

扣除較易波動的食品，能源與貿易類，9月核心PPI亦下降0.1%。

9月PPI較去年同期上升1.6%，8月為上升1.8%。
