中華藍隊12日出戰強敵埃及，雖然下半場氣勢不錯，最終還是不敵人高馬大的禁區攻勢，以61：69落敗，無緣獨居預賽龍頭。

「野獸」林志傑此役照計畫復出，不過只在首節替補上場11分20秒，中華藍上半場受制籃板劣勢，落後6分。

下半場開局，中華藍落後達雙位數，不過曾文鼎高位組織、強攻禁區，加上洪志善連飆2記三分球，一度將比數追平。

決勝節中華藍雖然調上「Q」戴維斯（Quincy Davis）依然「恨天高」，單節輸了9個籃板，全隊命中率也下滑，惜以8分差落敗。

中華藍此役狀況頻頻，除了得讓傷癒復出的林志傑試身手，「新台灣飛人」劉錚首節灌籃落地時嚴重受傷，目前已經送醫治療。
